New Mexico and Camping Week is full of fun and experiential growth for children. Our first day is a prep day where kids learn safety and skills to cover them for the next 3 1/2 in which we set out for the Santa Fe Treehouse. Once we arrive, children who plan to stay overnight are assigned their cabins, while the day campers get to relax and explore the beautiful land at the treehouse.
Activities that take place over the next three days range from team building games, art in nature, apache drumming and dance with art and games, pottery, hikes, storytelling around the campfire, stargazing, archery (for older kids), water games, and so much more. We also all gather to help make meals and eat together to emphasize the beauty of community.
